I hated them growing up because they teased Wendy.  Just like bullying shy girls.

Serious question.  Why did they break the rule in the newest episode that travelling in the TARDIS makes you able to understand/speak alien/foreign languages?  Clara couldn’t understand the people in the market and the Doctor did a cheesy alien conversation scene that made me cringe and reminded me of MIB2.  Not cheesy in a fun, campy way… but a rolling-my-eyes repulsive way.
